| Holy Family’s Religious Education Program for children in grades 1, 2 (First Holy Communion), 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and up (Confirmation Class) meets on Wednesday afternoons from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. Tuition is $200.00 per student for all grades(second child: $ 100.00; third child: $ 50.00). There are small additional fees for candidates preparing for First Holy Communion and Confirmation. Registration takes place in September, and classes take place October through early June, at Holy Family Parish, located at 315 East 47th Street between 1st and 2nd Avenues. All children who are members of our parish, or of neighboring parishes without a CCD program, and who attend public or private schools,are most welcome to be enrolled in our parish Religious Education Program. We expect these children to be part of our program throughout their elementary school years so that they can learn about their Catholic faith and be prepared to receive the sacraments of the Church. Attendance is necessary each year; the grade levels between First Holy Communion and Confirmation (3, 4, 5 and 6) should not be skipped.
